INTRODUCTION
The Group of 20, also known as the G20, serves as an international forum for bringing the world’s major advanced economies to discuss, coordinate and decide upon economic policy. The G20 was established in 1999 as a response to late 1990s financial crises, and since then continues its aim of promoting international financial stability. With its attendees who are government leaders of member states, the group addresses challenges such as international economic cooperation, global financial stability, trade, etc. The presidency of the G20 rotates annually among its members. The G20 2026 Summit will be hosted by the United States of America in Miami. This year, under President Trump’s leadership, the group focuses on three main themes: unleashing economic prosperity by limiting regulatory burdens, unlocking affordable and secure energy supply chains, and pioneering innovations in AI and emerging technologies.
In this committee, the leaders will get the chance of establishing international financial agreements, shaping economic forums by across the board missions, creating government regulations for commitment to united stability, any many more by a successful declaration. The Open Agenda of the committee serves as a step to keep an eye open to the world’s most emerging crises, and act carefully. The door is open for both challenges and innovations in the G20. Making joint statements is in our leaders hands, will you cooperate?
